Beyond AI Labels: Canada Needs an Accountability Framework for Autonomous Agents

As AI systems move from answering questions to taking actions on our behalf, transparency is no longer enough. Canada’s emerging AI framework will need to confront a harder question: how do we establish accountability when autonomous agents act, transact and interact across digital systems?
